The City boss confessed experiencing "embarrassment" following a confrontation with a camera operator subsequent to the Citizens' 2-1 defeat at Newcastle this past weekend.

When the match concluded, a visibly upset Guardiola stepped onto the field and had heated discussions with the referee, Sam Barrott and Newcastle’s Bruno Guimarães, and also touched the headphones of the camera operator.

"I apologised," the manager remarked. "I feel embarrassed, ashamed, when I see it. I don’t like it. I immediately apologized to the operator. That's just me. After 1,000 games I'm far from perfect, I make huge mistakes."
